Every day, companies around the world practice, more and more, the concept of outsourcing.

Commonly, companies in developing countries outsource products from highly developed countries, where the production process can be substantially automated and the cost and quality dramatically depend on this automation. This is the case of RTA (ready to assemble) cabinets, thermofoil doors, plastic laminate, among other supplies.

On the other hand, companies in highly developed and technified countries, outsource their labor intensive products from companies located in developing countries, where the cost of labor is not only much lower, but highly skilful and careful, like the one of a craftsman. Such is the case of products like some furniture pieces, cultured marble tops and cabinet doors.

Mexico is located in a very interesting position somewhere between these two extreme cases. Our country shares the border with the United States, the most powerful country in terms of economy and technology. In addition to having access to this state-of-the-art technology, Mexico exports an important volume of these products because of the proximity and low cost of freight to the USA, which in turn enjoys one of the healthiest economies in the world. For these reasons it can be fairly easy, depending on the specific industry, to find a product supplier in Mexico with high labor force availability, enough technology expertise to face the requirements of quality and manufacturing capacity, and a low cost labor force, according to international standards, but properly trained and directed.

Mexico´s labor cost is not the lowest one in the world, but it is below the average. Mexico´s labor force is not the best educated one in the world, but it is above the average. It is also very hard working, proud and dedicated.

Geographically, Mexico is ideally located for doing business with the USA and Canada, but never too far from other potential markets as Europe and South America.
